Willie's Steak House has been a
Bronx icon since 1977. Willie and Francis
Fornes established this legacy, and Kenneth
Giordano transformed it into the Latin Jazz
landmark that it is today when he took over
in 1989. That legacy continues in 2007 -
the year of the 30th Anniversary of Willie's
Steakhouse - with Dan Ortiz at the helm. Along with our Zagat rated
restaurant and our beautiful and exciting
bar area, some of the biggest names in music
have come to Willies to perform. Included
are artists like Johnny Pacheco, Eddie
Palmieri, Dave Valentin, Willie Rodriguez
and countless others. The late Tito Puente
used to call Willie's Steak House "my home
away from home". Willies has also become a
destination for new Latin Jazz performers to
showcase their artistry.
Willie's
Steak House is renowned for our criollo
cuisine with a wide variety of juicy steaks,
delicious chops
and savory specials. In addition to our
elegant bar and restaurant is a relaxing
outdoor patio and smoking area, which is
available for functions in the summer. An
area for private dining is also
available. We hope to see you soon - please
contact us for reservations or catering at
the following number: 718-822-9697. Salud!!!
An extensive menu of
steaks and Latin dishes make for an authentic
Spanish style dining experience at this
longtime Bronx chop shop that’s well priced and
served well for the genre; live Latin jazz
performances on Wednesdays, Fridays and
Saturdays are equally appealing.
